Bishop Greg

This original acrylic painting and colourful portrait of The Most Rev. Greg Kerr-Wilson (current Anglican Archbishop of Calgary) was created in early 2013. - Bethany Vanderputten

Always

“Always” was created as part of a narrative portrait of Bon Jovi that examined in part the obsession of fandom. I believe I was the model in this painting… - Bethany Vanderputten

"Good Hope" continues...

“Good Hope” continues... I painted this iconic building on-site at Sorrento Centre. This colourful work of art can be seen on their 2019 Program Guide and other materials. - Bethany Vanderputten

Chasing Waterfalls

Last year I created a small series of plein air paintings outside around Calgary and area. "Chasing Waterfalls" (18"x24" acrylic on hardboard) was painted in one afternoon at Elbow Falls. There was hundreds of people walking past on the path, children crying, and young people jumping into the water below on the warm summer day. - Bethany Vanderputten

Dream On!

As part of my study of music celebrity, I painted a portrait of Steven Tyler in 2011. It is a 16”x20” acrylic painting, one of a series of artwork that explores his Cree heritage as part of his persona… Enjoy the graphite drawing here as well. - Bethany Vanderputten

Florette

In 2011 I designed and illustrated my own wire-bound calendar "Florette" and it was professionally printed by KK Graphics in San Francisco, California. Enjoy looking back at some of the artwork here... (Not available for purchase). - Bethany Vanderputten

The Butterfly's Adventure

"Those who turn back know only the ordeal, but they who persevere remember the adventure." Milo L. Arnold "The Butterfly's Adventure" was created in 2009 as part of my MFA thesis and the original painting is 16"x20" acrylic on hardboard. - Bethany Vanderputten
