Daffodil Winds

Daffodils that come before the swallow dares, and takes the winds of March with beauty. - Shakespeare

I've been struck recently how quickly the seasons change, even as I live in a climate that seems to have no seasons. Watching my fresh daffodils grow old, change color and wilt before my eyes over a few days really affected me as I sought to portray time passing in this piece.

Goodbye March, Hello April.

Sold.
